Over the last few months I have undertaken a few challenges to raise money for Charlene’s Project and the building of a second school in Uganda.
In June I started with the Lisburn half marathon. Next was the 5 peaks challenge – this involved climbing the highest mountain in each country of the UK and Ireland in under 24 hours. My third event was the Mourne Mountain Marathon – a two day navigational marathon through the Mournes. The fourth and final event was the Dublin marathon- definitely the most painful of the four! It has been a lot of fun raising money for such a fantastic and inspirational local charity!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me so generously- together we have raised over £1500 for Charlene’s Project! If you would like to help us raise more then please do so at www.charitygiving.co.uk/philipdunlop1 or sponsor me in person.
